No. His body is part of a criminal investigation and can't be released until the autopsies are completed. I'm not sure when that will be.

What about Emma and the baby? Are they in another foster home or have they been returned to you?

Once his body is released, we have burial rights. We are going to organize a funeral for our Babu Babu.

Emma is in foster care in Wayne with the same agency and the same caseworker who has repeatedly failed our family. We have a hearing next week to get her back.

Lilith is still in termination in the county that started this mess so long ago.

She's in Washtenaw. Her rights haven't been terminated yet. We're slated for Jury Trial.

We were supposed to get Boo and Babu back in July but the judge went on vacation.

I can't publicly discuss what has happened to Emma. Many people have alluded to it in comments and the like on other posts, etc. Emma is not okay.

the other court seized Lilith (washtenaw) to stop reunification with E and I. Hoping they could piggyback custody of E and I onto Lilith and steal them from Wayne County. They're still trying, 4.5 mos later.
